Batata Fry

Batata Fry was the first place where I was invited as a food blogger for reviewing their dishes. This outlet was a sponsor to our college’s annual cultural festival ‘Horizon’ and my friend Nikita Sontakke gave me this opportunity of food blogging. It’s a pleasant outlet located near Vashi Bus Depot and is mostly favorite among the young crowd. Music in the background and innovative interiors add up in the creation of perfect hangout place.

The owner of Batata Fry had presented us with six different dishes. The first one was The Spring Potato. Thin slices of potatoes are inserted in a long stick forming a spiral shape around it. This dish was from their special menu. The crispy yet soft slices of potato perfectly melt in your mouth with each bite.

Next, I had Chicken Nugget Fries and Fish and Chip Fries. Chicken Nugget Fries were made of Chicken Nuggets and saucy fries where as the Fish and Chip Fries were made of three Fish Chip and a bit tangy and sour sauces. For me the Chicken Nugget Fries were perfect combination of lip smacking ingredients as am a Nugget lover too and the add on sauces were just perfect like the cherry on a cake. I didn’t like the Fish and Chip Fries because of their sauces but if you are a sour food lover then do try them.
